Warriors and Nottingham Forest defender, Tendayi Darikwa is likely to to be sidelined for six months following an anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered in training.
This was revealed by Nottingham Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi. He said:
It was really bad news. I was so sad for him, when he got injured. He asked to come back early from his holiday and it felt so positive. Now he will have the operation next week and we have lost him for a few months, for sure.
According to Mayoclinic.org, an ACL injury is a tear or sprain of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) — one of the major ligaments in your knee. ACL injuries most commonly occur during sports that involve sudden stops or changes in direction, jumping and landing — such as soccer, basketball, football and downhill skiing.
