Mobile Network Operator (MNO), Econet Wireless announced that it will review its Data and SMS bundles on 29 August 2019.
This is the umpteenth time that Econet has hiked tariffs this year alone.
An SMS sent by Econet to its millions of subscribers read:
<blockquote>Dear Customer. Please take note bundle prices for Data &amp; SMS will be reviewed effective 29 August 2019. Dial *143# or *151# to buy Data or *140# to buy SMS Bundles.</blockquote>
The two State-owned MNOs, namely NetOne and Telecel will most likely follow suit as they have also been raising tariffs regularly.
