Khama Billiat Dedicates Warriors Victory To Mugabe
Kaizer Chiefs Winger Khama Billiat dedicated the warrior’s victory against Somalia to the departed leader Robert Mugabe. The Warriors won 3 0 against low ranking Somalia in the second leg of World Cup qualifiers played at Rufaro Stadium yesterday.
Khama who scored the 3rd goal against the East Afrikaners dedicated the match to the former president who died in Singapore on Friday. In a post-match interview with 263Chat Khama said:
It feels good to win as a team. I dont know how the situation could have turned to be if we had lost in an effort to pay our last respects to our hero. With his body arriving tomorrow(today) the win will be a beffiting send off. he is someone who has done a lot for Zimbabwean sports and the nation at large.
FeedbackFor us to be here right now, at this hotel its because of him and his intelligence and his love for his people. I just want to say this is for you our hero, someone we will never forget for his contribution to the liberation for this counrty. May your dear soul rest in peace.
