WATCH: "I'll Get A Nobel Prize For A Lot Of Things," DONALD TRUMP
USA president, Donald Trump has said that if the Nobel Prize was being given fairly, he would get one for a lot of things. Speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Trump said the prize was not being awarded fairly.
A Nobel Prize is any of six international prizes awarded annually for outstanding work in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, economics, and the promotion of peace.
The Nobel Prizes, first awarded in 1901, are decided by members of Swedish learned societies or, in the case of the peace prize, the Norwegian Parliament.
The late former president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela won the Nobel Peace price in 1993 for leading South Africa’s peaceful transition from apartheid into a “democratic” South Africa.
