Newly-appointed Chippa United coach, Norman Mapeza, has been warned by one of his predecessors at the South African club, Joel Masutha, that he should not expect to stay there for an extended period of time.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Masutha said when one goes to coach Chippa Mpengesi’s team, he should expect the sack any time. He said:
You just need to go there with a laptop and the tracksuit you’re wearing, don’t bring anything else.
Chippa United has reportedly changed coaches twice in the space of two weeks, with Clinton Larsen being first to be fired and Duran Francis lasting just two matches as an interim coach.
The club has now had 20 coaches since 2011 and five of those were appointed on an interim basis.
