Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas is worried about the way his club is losing points “they should be picking” in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League following a 1-1 against Chapungu on Saturday.
The gap behind league leaders Caps United widened to 5 points following the Green Machine’s 2-1 win over Mushowani Stars on Sunday. Said Antipas:
We dominated the entire game, the guys gave a good account of themselves. We played some good football, the defence was solid though from another attack we conceded a penalty but a cutting edge is missing.
We are losing points that we should be picking, we are struggling right now. Instead of picking points at home, we are losing and it’s worrying.
Chapungu scored from the penalty spot through Denver Mukamba in the 18th minute, with Innocent Mucheneka equalising for Chicken Inn in the 68th minute also from the penalty spot.
The Gamecocks gaffer bemoaned the departure of the top marksman, Clive Agusto, to the South African premiership.
