Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) leaders have received death threats from an unknown number, warning them against taking certain decisions at their upcoming Executive and General Council meetings.
Writing on microblogging site, Twitter, ZCTU President Peter Mutasa said:
We received death threats just before our Executive General Council meetings. Japhet Moyo ZCTU SG, Florence Taruvinga Vice President and myself have received messages threatening us about making certain decisions. This is barbaric We hold the government responsible and it must stop these attacks.
