The Herald reports that the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Paul Mavima has advised schools and officials involved in examination processes as well as candidates that all Advanced and Ordinary school examinations scheduled for Friday 25 October are going on as scheduled.
Mavima’s statement follows the leaking of a letter written by Secretary in the Ministry, Tumisang Thabela, to the Provincial Education Director Harare Metropolitan Province, one Kateera, requesting him to facilitate the release of 2 304 learners and teachers for the anti-sanctions march on the same day.
Several reports had indicted that public school examinations scheduled for Friday, 25 October 2019 have been postponed.
