Govt Used $465 Million Collected From 2% Tax To Rehabilitate Roads - Report

The govt reportedly used $465 million from the 2% tax per transaction to rehabilitate the country’s roads, the Chronicle reports.

The govt under the Roads Development Programs is aiming to rehabilitate the country’s 98133 kilometres in order to attract investment because according to Mthuli Ncube:

Investment in a well-connected road network is good for both business and balanced development in the country

Roads rehabilitation in a normal scenario is conducted by ZINARA.
