The Political Actors’ Dialogue (POLAD) has resolved to engage the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, The World Bank and the international community at large, to help them lobby for the removal of sanctions, the Herald reports.
According to the publication this was revealed by NPRC Chairman who reiterated that sanctions were a threat to human life and they should go since they have been opposed on Zimbabwe since almost decades ago.
POLAD is a dialogue initiative initiated by the President comprising of about 17 political parties that took part in 2018’s harmonised election.
