The criminal abuse of office trial for former Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko failed to start yesterday as per schedule due to miscommunication between the state and the VPs defence team, Daily News reports.
According to the publication:
Prosecutor Nelson Mutsonziwa said his team came prepared for arguing the application by Mphoko for postponement of trial, but yesterday his lawyer was now singing a different tune. Magistrate Mujaya then postponed the matter to today.
