Rowan Martin Building Fully Functional After Water Is Restored
Harare City Council said the Rowan Martin Building, which houses its offices, was not shut down due to the unavailability of water as reported earlier.
The council said its offices remain open to serve residents though it was operating with skeletal staff. The water situation has since been rectified. Below is the statement from the council:
PUBLIC NOTICE
FeedbackDear Residents.
Be advised that Rowan Martin Building was never closed to the transacting public today.
Ratepayers were conducting business as usual throughout the day.
We had challenges with our water supplies at the building forcing us to operate with skeletal staff.
Water supplies have since been restored and all our staff will be reporting for duty.
