African Medallion Group (AMG) boss, Frank Buyanga has been granted permission to register his child in his own surname.
The order was granted by Mbare magistrate Stanford Mambanje after Buyanga’s ex-girlfriend, Chantelle Muteswa sought to stop the businessman from registering their son in his surname.
The development was confirmed by Buyanga’s lawyer, Carlton Mupungani who told the Daily News on Monday that the matter had been struck off the roll.
Meanwhile, Muteswa claims that Buyanga has no custodial rights to the child. She also alleged that the Children’s Court had acted beyond its jurisdiction.
Buyanga and Muteswa have been fighting for the child’s custody for now with Muteswa approaching the first family at some point.
