Chiwenga Issues Stern Warning Against Corrupt

The VP, Rtd Gen CG Chiwenga speaking at the Zanu PF Congress in Goromonzi yesterday took the time to warn his party members against corruption as he said they will go to jail no matter who they are.

The VP said:

We need to be true patriots and loyal servants by shunning, resisting and exposing corruption … The issue of corruption will lead you to jail and no one will be spared no matter who they are. From here we must walk the straight and narrow. We don’t want to hear you pleading for leniency saying you worked hard for the party.

That does not matter. We acknowledge the role you play but we must follow the law … so corruption must end.

The VP came back from China where he was receiving treatment for 4 months.
