Bakers Not Guaranteeing Bread Availability During The Festive Season

Bakers have come out to say capacity is constrained and there is no guarantee bread will be available during the festive season Sunday News reports.

Bakers Association Of Zimbabwe president Mr Denis Wala, spoke to the Sunday News and said:

The availability of bread depends on the availability of resources needed in its production. If these resources are available bread will also be available. The sector is currently operating at 35 to 40 percent capacity.

Bread is one of Zimbabwe’s most common staple foods after mealie meal.
