Herentals FC has been caught in yet another match-fixing fix as Bulawayo Chiefs allege that their last game against Herentials was manipulated, The Standard reports.
The allegations are stemming for the last match of the league where Bulawayo Chiefs played Herentials and Herentials came to the game one hour late in clear violation of the league’s command that all last matches were to kick off at the same time to eliminate match-fixing issues.
A source that spoke to the publication said:
Another allegation of match fixing has been made against Herentals FC to the Premier Soccer League, this time by Bulawayo Chiefs and investigations are still underway. The allegation comes after the club appeared before the PSL’s DC on Thursday for causing the delay of their match against Bulawayo Chiefs last Saturday
Herentals is also in another match-fixing storm after Black Rhinos also raised a match-fixing complaint against Herentals.
