Ovidy Karuru Joins Stellenbosch

South African-based Warriors vice-captain Ovidy Karuru has joined Stellenbosch after his contract with Amazulu was terminated by mutual consent.
Karuru joined Amazulu in 2017 from Kaizer Chiefs and went on to score six goals and made 56 appearances for the club.
Reports suggest that Karuru had an uneasy relationship with new Amazulu coach Jozef Vukusic who joined the South African side in September.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch is bottom of the Absa Premiership log with 12 points from 14 games while Amazulu is just a point above them.
