President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said that Zimbabwe must adjust its policies to make them as attractive as a woman or man who is getting ready for marriage. Wath the video below.
His remarks come as Foreign Direct Investment has dwindled over the years over alleged “hostile policies”.
Only recently, Japan Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Toshiyuki Iwado said that Japanese companies were shunning Zimbabwe over a number of issues including the inability to repatriate business proceeds.
Zimbabwe has since the departure of the late former president, Robert Mugabe in 2017, has indicated that it is implementing reforms to enhance democracy and business with the international community.
Meanwhile, some economies are not convinced that Zimbabwe is sincere on reforms as there are no results on the ground to substantiate the rhetoric.
