ZESA has promised to proffer the power usually used by the industry to households as there is an annual shutdown, and the industry has fewer power needs, The Herald reports.
Zesa acting CEO Engineer Patrick Chivaura said this in an interview with the publication:
Industry is going for holiday and we are trying to get the electricity they usually use and put it in the homes and farms for irrigation.
The shut down by industry may not result in all areas having electricity, but we should have a reasonable amount of electricity
ZESA has been having problems supplying Zimbabwe with electricity at all times because of a number of reasons.
