Justice Minister <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Ziyambi_Ziyambi">Ziyambi Ziyambi</a> in an interview with VOA clearly stated in Shona that ZRP has been given the green light to shoot machete welding Mashurugwi.
Ziyambi justified the decision to shoot MaShurugwi and likened the Machete Welding gangs to terrorists and said no one sympathises with terrorists.
Political commentator Dewa Mavhunga said it is against the law to shoot <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/MaShurugwi">MaShurugwi</a> without taking them to court first.
