JUST IN: Marry Chiwenga To Spend Weekend In Custody As Court Postpones Hearings

The High Court has postponed Marry Chiwenga’s bail application and appeal hearings, a development that will see the estranged wife of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga spending the weekend in custody.

The former model was already in custody for attempting to kill the vice president, money laundering, externalisation of funds and fraudulently seeking to upgrade her customary union to a civil marriage without her husband’s consent.

The application for bail and appeal hearings were deferred to Tuesday next week.
