Leadership Standards Systems and Strategy expert Mr Sebastian Zuze has expressed his concern over cheap imported whisky, usually smuggled into the country saying it is hazardous to one’s health as most of those whiskies do not conform to certain alcoholic beverages standards.
Said Mr Zuze:
We urge people to avoid smuggled alcoholic beverages because if the content is more than the prescribed limits it will cause serious harm to the liver and the brain.
…Excessive consumption of alcohol can affect the te_sticles adversely. It can effectively change the structure of the test_icles, leading to a fall in the Serum Testosterone level. Testosterone is the male reproductive hormone and a fall in the level of testosterone can cause male infertility
The price of alcoholic beverages in Zimbabwe has continued to soar beyond the reach of masses because of inflation.
