Castle Lager Premier Soccer League club Caps United is eyeing more deals with corporates to make itself a viable business.
Makepekepe co-director Nhamo Tutisani said the club is already in partnership with telecoms company NetOne and is looking at attracting more sponsors to its brand. Said Tutisani:
It is a transformation, a professional way of running the club as a business entity. We look at it from a beneficial return on a sponsorship basis.
We already have one of our strongest corporate partners, NetOne, whom we believe our relationship will grow even stronger.
We are in a good relationship with Nyaradzo Funeral and we hope that we will be galvanising the partnership before the 2020 season.
Caps United was well-positioned to win the league in 2019 having led for the greater part of the second half of the season.
However, the Green Machine stumbled in its final two games, losing to Ngezi Platinum Stars and eventual champions FC Platinum.
