Mamelodi Sundowns Coach Pitso Mosimane Reveals How They Failed To Sign Musona
Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane has revealed that the club had a keen interest in signing the Zimbabwean skipper, Knowledge Musona but they were beaten to his signature by Belgian side KAS Eupen.
Mosimane told KickOff that the club had no enough money to match that of the Belgian club which was being offered to the former Kaizer Chiefs forward. He said:
I can confirm we wanted Musona but he decided to go for the Eupen programme in Qatar. We could not match the Qatar money.

Musona opted to join KAS Eupen on a season-long loan and Eupen coach Benat San Jose expressed happiness in the pay at which Musona is adjusting at his new club.

The Smiling Assassin scored his first goal for Eupen on his debut just ten minutes into the first half of the match they drew 1-1 draw with Charleroi on Saturday.
