French Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon) has confirmed the signing of Zimbabwean international footballer Tinotenda Kadewere from Ligue 2 side Le Havre.

Lyon revealed that they paid €12 million upfront, with a further €2 million payable in incentives and a 15% sell-on clause. In a post on Twitter, Lyon said:

We’re pleased to announce the signing of Zimbabwean striker Tino Kadewere from Le Havre for €12 million, with a further €2 million payable in incentives and a 15% sell-on clause.

Kadewere, 24, has signed a four-and-a-half year contract, running until 30 June 2024. He will remain with Le Havre on loan until the end of the current season.

Kadewere joined Le Havre during the last European summer transfer window from Swedish first division club Djurgårdens IF.
