Former ZANU PF Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs, Lewis Matutu has vowed to continue his fight against corruption following his suspension from leadership positions in the party alongside former Secretary for the Commissariat, Godfrey Tsenengamu.
Writing on Twitter on Wednesday evening, several hours after his suspension, Matutu said:
Self-sacrifice is the most honourable and selfless thing you can do in your life. Better to die for something than to live for nothing.
ZANU PF Secretary for Youth Affairs Pupurai Togarepi, Matutu and Tsenengamu were on Wednesday suspended from their party positions for indiscipline.
Matutu and Tsenengamu held a press conference on Monday where they accused Kudakwashe Tagwirei, a ZANU PF benefactor, of corruption and sabotaging the economy.
They also accused Green Fuel boss, Muller Conrad Rautenbach and Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe (GMAZ) chairperson Tafadzwa Musarara of corruption.
