FULL TEXT: Matutu Responds To Mahere's Claims That He Grabbed Someone's Farm
Suspended Zanu PF League leader, Lewis Matutu has presented an offer letter as proof that he had not illegally invaded someone’s farm as others had suggested.
Matutu was responding to a Twitter post by the Secretary of Education in the opposition MDC led by Nelson Chamisa, advocate Fadzayi Mahere who had suggested that Matutu’s anti-corruption campaign was to fool people since he was also corrupt. Mahere had posted saying:
There’s no such thing as good Zanu & bad Zanu. They are all corrupt. @LewisMatutu who condemns corruption by his team mates is guilty of taking the law into his hands and grabbing someone’s land unlawfully. When they fight, we must never take sides. The whole thing is rotten.

Advocate Mahere latter responded suggesting that Matutu could have had cut corners in the process. She asked if he knew “anything about due process? Have you read up on the doctrine of spoliation? (which refers to a rule of evidence when there is tampering, destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.) Do you know why the High Court censured him?”
