Former Warriors and Dynamos FC coach Callisto Pasuwa on Monday agreed to a one-year contract with Malawi Premiership champions Nyasa Big Bullets.
The deal was finalised at 4.30 pm yesterday and would run from February 1, 2020, up to January 31, 2021, covering a total of 12 months.
Some media reports in Malawi had earlier reported that Pasuwa had returned to Zimbabwe following disagreements over the terms of a two-year-deal.
However, speaking to The Herald on Monday, Pasuwa’s close friend Dee Shorai Muchineripi said:
There was no misunderstanding between Mana (Pasuwa) and Nyasa as reported in other sections of Malawi media.
His return to Zimbabwe has nothing to do with his contract, although three clauses were still pending and they were ironing them out over the weekend.
The two parties were always going to reach an amicable agreement and Mana has agreed to another one-year contract.
Meanwhile, Pasuwa is expected to put his signature on the dotted line once he returns to Blantyre on Wednesday.
