American Company Railnet, which recently announced its plans to construct a railway joining Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique and introduce speed trains to service the tri-states is yet to approach Zimbabwe, The Herald Reports.
This was revealed by the ministry of transport Joel Biggie Matiza who spoke to the publication and said:
We have heard about that project but they have not yet come to us officially. We cannot say much at the moment until we have some discussions with them
According to Reuters, Railnet has started feasibility studies in Zambia after approaching the Zambian government about the deal.
