Former Arcadia United Star Alwyn Hagen Dies

Former football legend Alwyn Hagen has died, The Herald reports. Hagen who reportedly died in an accident in Botswana on Thursday used to play for Arcadia United and Black Aces in the 1970s and early 1980s according to the publication.

65-year-old Hagen’s death was confirmed by his former teammate Charlie “Maskiri” White who said:

.Yes, he died in a car accident in Botswana but I do not have all the details. Byron Manuel, who is in Canada, telephoned me this morning

Several other ex-teammates confirmed Hagen’s death which was followed by Bosso legendary coach Barry Daka’s death on Friday the same week.
