The Supreme Court of Zimbabwe this Tuesday ruled on the opposition MDC leadership crisis case and said that Thokozani Khupe was the legitimate leader.
The party was also ordered to convene an extraordinary congress to elect its leadership since Khupe will be leading on an interim basis.
The case was an appeal by Nelson Chamisa against the entire judgment of the High Court delivered on 8 May 2019 which also nullified ascension to power.
