EFF Former Spokesperson Taunts Bill Gates Over Coronavirus Vaccines Saga

The former spokesperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has ridiculed Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates after he offered assistance with innovative mass-based testing kits and research to combat the novel coronavirus in Africa.
Gates has been the target of multiple conspiracy theories about the spread of the new coronavirus and Ndlozi could have been infuriated by the one which claims that a French Doctor Raoult warned “Africans not to take the vaccine that will soon be sold against the Coronavirus, this vaccine contains poison and the West wants to destroy Africa.”
Raoult appears to question why Bill Gates would want to start vaccinating Africans when Western countries have significantly higher infection rates. It is within this context that Ndlozi said:
Nothing qualifies the university drop out Bill Gates to lead debates on vaccines & medical responses to #covid_19 except that he holds shares in BIG pharmaceutical companies. It’s a FACT that Gates is an under-educated computer nerd who dropped out of university to become rich!
According to Tessa Knight a Research Assistant with the Digital Forensic Research Lab, Southern Africa, however, French-fact checking organization, Check News, disproved the Raoult story after Méditerranée Infection, the university hospital institute, where Raoult works, stated that Raoult had not written the widely circulated message about Gates.
Knight posted on Medium.com saying that on April 1, AFP also debunked the claim and all Facebook posts containing the message were labelled as false information.
