The UK Mayor who said Boris Johnson deserved to get sick with COVID-19 has lost her job as a paralegal at a UK Law firm BBC reports.
Councillor Sheila Oakes, who is the mayor for the Derbyshire town of Heanor, wrote on Facebook that “Johnson completely deserves this” and has defended her actions saying she posted without thinking and later on deleted her post and apologised.
Her other employer VHS Fletchers Solicitors said in a statement:
To wish illness upon anyone must be abhorrent to all right thinking members of the public. (Her views are) not shared by the partners or any other members of staff.
Boris Johnson is now out of the ICU after he was moved into intensive care after his condition deteriorated.
