A Bulawayo Nurse Aide Violates Self Isolation Orders & Visits Hillside Police Station & Tests Positive For The Virus 5 Days Later  - Report

A Nurse aid at Bulawayo ‘s Mater Dei Hospital, a 52-year-old woman who was supposed to be in isolation after she attended to Bulawayo’s first COVID-19 fatality also violated isolation restrictions and visited Hillside Police Station to report a dispute with her tenant, ZimLive reports.

The nurse aide identified by her case number #16 tested positive on Monday 13 April 5 days after she had been ordered to self-isolate and is one of the 3 positive cases for that day.

According to a Police memo seen by the publication, the nurse aid who is now Case #16 was ordered to go home and self-quarantine after the results of her patient a 79-year-old man came back positive for the virus on 8 April.

However, within hours of being ordered to self-isolate, case #16 went to Hillside police where she was in contact with 8 police officers.

On Monday the nurse aide tested positive for the virus and she is being attended to by the authorities in the City.
