Absolom Sikhosana Declared National Hero

The late Zanu PF Politburo member Absolom Sikhosana who died yesterday has been declared a national hero, Star FM News reports. This was revealed by the party’s secretary for administration Obert Mpofu. In a tweet announcing the development, Star FM posted:

Zanu-PF politburo member and veteran of the liberation struggle Absolom Sikhosana, who died last night at the United Bulawayo Hospitals, has been declared a national hero. Zanu-PF secretary for administration Obert Mpofu made the announcement at Sikhosana residence this afternoon

Meanwhile, Obert Mpofu and his team went to confer Zimbabwe Defence Industries (ZDI) general manager Brigadier-General Crispan Masuku with a hero status hours after his burial at Lady Stanley Cemetery.
