Leonard Mapfumo & Snipper Storm Collaborate

Leonard Mapfumo and Snipper Storm real name Donald Chirisa have collaborated on a song they will release tomorrow, The Standard reports. The song is titled Mairosi and was produced by Gabz Morgan. Speaking about the song, Leonard Mapfumo said:

We have known each for more than 18 years and before the lockdown we had just been talking about our work when we realised that we had not done a record together. So we both thought this would be a great time to do that

Leonard Mapfumo is one of the urban grooves pioneers and his song Maidei topped the charts in the early 2000s while Snipper Storm ‘s songs among them love yemusoja trended during the Zim Dancehall frenzy.
