The beleaguered Zanu PF politician who was recently fired from his deputy ministerial position, Goromonzi West legislator Energy Mutodi has been issued with a prohibition order by the Zanu PF Mashonaland East leadership, Sunday News reports.
The development was announced by Mashonaland East Provincial spokesperson Kenneth Mutiwekuziva during a tour of Murehwa Hospital yesterday. Mutodi was prohibited from participating in all party activities:
Following the sacking of Dr Mutodi as a Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity (and Broadcasting Services) by His Excellency Cde ED Mnangagwa, Mash East executive committee sat down and deliberated on the issue and agreed that proper disciplinary action should be carried out. This prohibition order is in regard to his position as a provincial member in Mash East province
Mutodi was fired last week on the same day he made controversial remarks claiming 3 MDC activists who were abducted were not abducted or tortured by state security agents but by their lovers.
