Reports from Belgium suggest that Warriors captain Knowledge Musona is set to sign a permanent transfer deal at Belgium side KAS Eupen where he was on loan in the just-ended season.
Musona has been with Belgian Pro league giants Anderlecht since July 2018 but he has made only eight appearances and scored just one goal before he joined KAS Eupen on a loan deal in January 2020 until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old flourished at KAS Eupen — scoring two goals in six starts which appear to have convinced the Belgian side to consider a permanent deal for him.
Musona’s future has constantly been a subject of debate since he failed to make an impact at Anderlecht, with some reports claiming that he is a target of South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.
Before his move to Anderlecht, Musona had been at Kaizer Chiefs, Oostende, and Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim among loan spells at different clubs.
Musona is on a lucrative deal at Anderlecht until July 2022.
