Real Madrid returned to the top of the La Liga log after their comfortable 2-0 win against Mallorca at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, Madrid’s training ground on Wednesday.
The Whites got goals from Vinicius in the first half and then Ramos from a free-kick that he put into the top corner in the second.
Sergio Ramos has now scored more league free kicks than his five-time Ballon d’Or winning former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in the last two years.
In addition to being the new freekick taker at Madrid, the Spanish defender has also taken over penalty duties since Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Juventus in 2018.
