Bulawayo Woman Jailed For Skin Lightening Products Possession
A Bulawayo woman was slapped with a 3 months jail sentence after she was found in possession of the skin lighting products that are illegal, the Chronicle reports.
The woman, Iris Khumalo who was arrested in Vic Falls last Sunday pleaded guilt to Selling unregistered medicines when she appeared before Vic Falls Magistrate Lindiwe Maphosa who sentenced her to 3 months in prison before suspending one month for five years on condition of good behaviour.

Police deployed at Masuwe roadblock stopped a vehicle that was going towards Hwange and requested to search luggage. The driver had given a lift to four passengers. Police found various kinds of unregistered medicines in Khumalo’s bag.
The state forfeited the unregistered medicines which included Betasol crèam and lotion, Lemonvate crèam, Epideme crèam, Bronze Tone, Perfect White crèam, Cocopulp Lightning Oil and cream, Carolight crèam, Pure Skin Lotion, Bio Claire and Diproson.
