Former ZANU PF politburo member and leader of opposition United Democratic Alliance, Dr Daniel Shumba has warned the Zimbabwean masses against being used again by politicians, this time to remove the incumbent government.
We present Shumba’s Twitter thread in full below.
The Second Rape!Important to examine the 31st July second coup (sugar-coated as a citizen uprising). The advocates are known associates and practitioners of the Zanu PF regime, but now acting as proxies of the Junta in a forced change of guard. Non will say #ZanupfMustGo
Citizens must refuse to be used by the Military to remove @edmnangagwa and his tribesmen in a calculated move to create a (National Transitional Authority) NTA led by either @CGChiwanga_ or @MinisterSBMoyo. Refuse to be used in Season 2 of the Coup. The activities of a rogue Pastor mustn’t be underestimated. The Junta aren’t God to determine who rules Zimbabwe. This is an alliance some churchmen, coup conspirators, corrupt gurus, unconstitutional peddlers, and serious human rights abusers. No reforms can be expected from these thugs. When God is in it no man will get the credit.
Nothing less than a #ZanupfMustGo action is tolerable. No Military initiative or entitlement should be acceptable. An NTA can’t be superintendent by the captors and proxies. We need sophisticated minds to unpack the current conspiracy. An uprising is never deliberate nor do you give a Warning Order. It’s driven by a deep resolve and anger and is instantaneous. I challenge the proxies to disprove that the 31st July isn’t an attempt to rape citizens the second time, but with a promise of marriage.
If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’… the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” 2 Kings 7v4..But can’t be led by associates of the Arameans. That’s the cracks!
