1. Anxious Jongwe Masuka is an agriculturalist whose career in agriculture spans for over 32 years since he graduated from college in 1988.
2. Masuka is an academic who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture majoring in Crop Science from the University of Zimbabwe and he holds PhD from the same university, he has published over 6 publication while affiliated with Tobacco Research Board
3. He Is the current Chairman of the University Of Zimbabwe Council
4. He is the current Chief Executive officer of Zimbabwe Agricultural Society
5. He sits on the following boards: Tobacco Industry Advisory Council,  Zimbabwe Seed Trade Association, Agricultural Research Council,  National Economic Consultative Forum, International Mycological Association.

Masuka is the new Agriculture Minister, a technocrat who was appointed by President Mnangagwa today following the death of the former agriculture minister Perrance Shiri.
