Acie Lumumba born William Mutumanje has said he was not involved in a road accident as claimed by some on social media.
He speaks after a video had circulated claiming that the former ZANU PF official’s newly acquired Mercedes Benz had been involved in a horrific accident on Sunday morning.
Circumstances leading to the said accident were not revealed. Posting via his Twitter handle, Lumumba only said:
Hi friends, thank you for the concern. No I was not in an accident this morning.
Earlier, his sidekick Kuda Musasiwa also known as Begotten Sun had posted on Twitter saying:
Morning everyone. Glad to report that Acie Lumumba is alive and well after an motor accident on route to BYO. We thank God.
He later said “So he wasn’t in an accident.
