2 Missing Harare Couples Feared Dead - ZRP
Zimbabwe Republic Police(ZRP) has said 2 couples that went missing this year may have been killed and their bodied dumped at unknown locations after they cannot establish their whereabouts a few months into investigating their disappearance, The Herald reports.
The first couple, a Chinese couple, Lei Ding (35) and his wife Chi Lifen (30) disappeared on Valentine’s Day in February after briefly visiting a friend in Highlands. According to police reports their car, a Mercedes Benz ML was found abandoned, but intact the following day.
While Mr Gus Spartas (73) and his wife Ellen Mupfumisa (48) went missing on 21 June and they have never been seen since. Their vehicle, a Toyota Hilux double cab was found burnt to a shell in the Borrowdale a few days later.
A reward has been offered in both case, $1 Million for the Dings and $1000 for the Spartas’ but ZRP has not received any information to help them solve the cases.
