MDC Founding Member, Thokhozile Muziboreva Dies
A founding member of the opposition MDC Thokhozile Muziboreva has died. She was 58.
Muziboreva died suddenly at Morgenster Mission Hospital on October 9, 2020, after she succumbed to diarrhoea.
At the time of her death, Muziboreva was the secretary for tourism in the MDC Alliance National Women’s Assembly, Masvingo Province.
She was buried at Chikarudzo in Chikoto Village under Chief Shumba on October 11, 2020.
Reports indicate that Muziboreva complained of diarrhoea on a Thursday night and was ferried to Morgenster Hospital and she died in the early hours of Friday.
She is survived by four children following the death of her husband last year.
Several senior party officials attended the funeral, among them national organising secretary Amos Chibaya and national chair lady Mugido Muchirairwa.
Secretary for National Women Assembly Monica Mukwada, Provincial Councilor Muranganwa Chanyawu, Masvingo Mayor Collen Maboke and Chief Shumba also attended the funeral.
