OpenGrade 7 Results To Be Released Before 31 January 2021
Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Director of Communications, Taungana Ndoro, has said Grade Seven results will be released early next year but definitely before 31 January.
Ndoro said Form One pupils for next year will enrol only after this year’s Ordinary Level candidates finish their examinations sometime in January 2021.
Form Fours started writing public examinations last week but they will have some of their papers overlapping into early next year and they will reopen on 4 January to finish the examinations.
Ndoro told the Sunday News that the phased reopening dates for returning classes will be announced in due course. He said:
We expect the Grade 7 results to be out before January 31. Form 1 pupils will enrol after the Ordinary level candidates have finished their examinations.
The idea is to continue decongesting our schools and following the Standards Operation Procedures amid the Covid-19 pandemic. We will have a phased schools reopening.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education will tomorrow open the online application platform for Form One pupils wishing to be enrolled in boarding schools next year.
