Mudimu Returns To Britain After Moldovan League Is Cancelled
Warriors central defender Alec Mudimu is now back in the United Kingdom after the Moldovian league was cancelled due to the coronavirus.
Mudimu joined Sheriff Tiraspol last season from Welsh Club CEFN Druids.
The 25-year-old defender had quite an outing with his team and even performed in the UEFA Champions League.
Mudimu was also part of the squad that played Algeria in the AFCON back to back qualifiers which they salvaged a point.
When Mudimu moved to the Moldovan league last year, his agent Dalibor Stevanovic said:
This is a very good opportunity for him because this is a very strong and professional club which regularly plays in European competitions.
What impressed me most is his professionalism and humility. I am sure he will do well at the club and this is a good start for him to join a bigger club.
This move will give him a chance to play in European competitions. I will use my 17 years of playing professional football to help him.
