FBC Announces Temporary Closure Of Leopold Takawira Branch
FBC Holdings Limited has announced the temporary closure of FBC Building Society Leopold Takawira Branch effective Tuesday the 19th of January 2021.
In a public notice Monday evening, FBC said the closure of the branch is to allow disinfection and contact tracing following the detection of a COVID-19 case at the branch. The statement read:
We advise our valued clients and stakeholders that FBC Building Society Leopold Takawira Branch has been temporarily closed effective Tuesday the 19th of January 2021 until further notice to allow disinfection and contact tracing following the detection of a COVID-19 case at the branch.
FeedbackThis is in line with health and safety guidelines as prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Child Care and World Health Organisation (WHO) to safeguard all stakeholders.
As you may be aware, the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and a new variant is escalating exponentially globally and nationally.
Stakeholders are therefore reminded to exercise due care. The staff member who tested positive for COVID-19 is now in quarantine.
