Lancet Laboratories has released a statement addressing the report on social media that some staff members at their laboratories are involved in COVID-19 fake certificates.

Lancet made the following points in the statement:

1. Lancet is aware of the queries raised on social media
2. They are taking the allegations seriously and they are investigating the issue
3. They will publish a statement once the investigation is over
4. COVID-19 results come straight from the laboratory and there is no room for human error or trickery
5. Lancet Clinical Laboratory PCR test is reliable.
