Judge Reserves Judgement In Job Sikhala's Bail Application

High Court judge, Justice Chitapi has reserved judgment in the bail application of MDC Alliance Vice Chairman Job Sikhala.

This was revealed by Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights which stated that judgment was reserved to Monday 1 February:

JUST IN: Zengeza West MP Hon. Job Sikhala will remain detained at Chikurubi Maximum Prison after Justice Chitapi reserved handing down of his ruling to Monday 1 February.

Hon. Sikhala, represented by @bamujm @PaidaSauromb & Harrison Nkomo of @ZLHRLawyers has been in police & prison custody since 9 January when he was arrested & charged with communicating or publishing falsehoods.

Sikhala who has been arrested more than 60 times was arrested alongside Hopewell Chin’ono and Fadzai Mahere after they made comments on the viral story of a ZRP officer reportedly beating a child strapped on its mother’s back to death.
